I lay here listening to what she is saying…. she is talking in circles , a bit like praying… She fights the dark and that it’s night… … I wish I had the power to make all of this right… She is worried about her sister and where shes at… If only i could convince her that her sister is fine and tomorrow they’ll chat … This disease is cruel, it breaks her mind, what a blow… Alzheimers robs you of your mom before you know.. She is scared and thats what hurts me so… I try to hold her and let her know… That tomorrow we will find who it is you choose… tomorrow I will fight this battle that eventually we will loose… My sweet mom comes and goes… I know this is the life she never chose…»
